The Force.com $1 Million Challenge is a venture competition for entrepreneurs and companies building on salesforce.com's Force.com Platform.

The winner will have the opportunity to negotiate with Emergence Capital for a potential $1 million dollar investment. The winner will also receive space in the salesforce.com AppExchange Incubator facility for one year and a go-to-market plan.

Emergence Capital will judge the entries and select the winning entrepreneur or company. Entrants in the Force.com $1 Million Challenge will be judged along seven main criteria:

1. Likelihood of long-term company success
2. Demonstration of customer success and user adoption
3. Market opportunity
4. Track record and passion of the entrepreneurial team
5. Adoption and innovating utilization of the Force.com Platform technology
6. Financial plan
7. Competition
